Our feet are amazing.
We have 26 bones 33 joints, 107 tendons and 19 muscles in our feet…do you ever wonder why you might suffer from back pain, knee pain, ankle pain, foot pain, or neck pain? Could it possibly all stem from the feet? The answer is yes.
Think about this…we take between 4,000 to 8,000 steps per day, and your feet are the only point of interaction between the ground and your body. On any given day, we put our feet through huge amounts of walking, standing and even running and jumping.
Just imagine…25% of all of our bones are in our feet. When these bones are out of balance, then your entire body will be out of balance. Any pain and discomfort from this can be further exacerbated by wearing improper footwear.
