Proper Care of Your Naot Footwear

HOW CAN I CARE FOR THEM TO KEEP THEM LOOKING THEIR BEST?

Many of our customers tell us that once they start wearing NAOTS, they never remove them from their feet.  It is a good idea to know how to care for them to keep them looking their best:

  • it is important to have a few pairs on hand in order to rotate them and not wear the same pair each and every day
  • Freshening: Nubuck and suede should be wiped with a damp sponge once every few days, or cleaned with a special nubuck or suede brush.
  • Protection: a suitable sealant spray can be applied before wearing. Always apply to the manufacturer’s instructions. This will help guard against damage from water and dirt.
  • Care: prevent your shoes from coming into contact with water and moisture. Drying NAOT shoes in front of a heater or in direct sunlight may damage them. Be sure to polish leathers once a week with an alcohol-free shoe polish. For exclusive leathers, please see below.
  • NAOT footwear is water resistant. It is important to note, in many cases the uppers are hand stitched to the sole.
